I thought it was great! I don’t have anything negative to say other than the location is hard to find. It was well done!! Touching, moving, real. I look forward to the next one. And I would really like to be a reader of stories with you and work together on that, if you would like to audition me.
Thanks, Laura! Yeah, I know that location may not be used again for performance due to the great turnout at the last show (that space wouldn’t have been able to accomodate 50 people), but I may use it next year for rehearsals/auditions.
I’ll definitely keep you posted closer to time the details regarding auditions next year. I’m looking into the possibility of renting again at Salvage Vanguard depending if the dates work out….it’s easier to find and allowed lighting/projection capability which was a nice touch, I think.:)
Holly… your multi-faceted performance was SUPERB and content was powerful, relevant, and mesmerizing! I hope you are planning to leave the best and only upgrade parts of or add to content each year… please do not dare replace all. I would suggest additional video footage, a variety or collage of photos, background music, special lighting effects to highlight your renditions and transitions. I cried. I laughed. I thought. I learned. I empathized. I sympathized. I was amazed at your idea, your perseverence, and so proud others could witness how expansive your talents are. Bravo!
